General Notice
City of Moab, a municipal corporation (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Backup Generator and Site Security
81-19-011
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Moab Offices located at 217 East Center Street, Moab, UT 84532, until Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers.
The Project includes the following Work:
Installing concrete equipment pads, propane tanks, piping and appurtenances, backup generators, transfer switches, security fences, and other site improvements at Well #6, Well #10, Skakel Springs, Old City Park Chlorinator, and White’s Chlorinator locations.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Backup Generator and Site Security
Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $289,175. The Project has a construction period of 90 days and a contract period of 180 days.

Pre-bid Conference
A pre-bid conference (not mandatory) for the Project will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers located at 217 East Center Street, Moab, UT 84532.
Instructions to Bidders
Questions can be submitted until November 2, 2022 and an addenda response will be issued November 4, 2022. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
