Employment Verification Checks (EVC)

Brief description: MnDOT requests proposals to contract for comprehensive Employment Verification Checks (EVC) on applicants for employment. Proposal must demonstrate the capacity to provide MnDOT with background information and verification concerning a person’s address history, credit report, existence of any criminal history, driver’s license classification, status and history, educational credentials, certification, licensing or registration of professional credentials, employment history, and social security verification. Responders must show compliance with all applicable Federal and State law, including the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). MnDOT will utilize the provision of information provided as a result of an EVC in its determination to offer, verify or rescind offers of employment.
