Over view: DOT is seeking a contractor to provide all equipment, materials and labor needed to removing existing roof membrane,
ballast, and insulation and replacing with new ballasted EPDM membrane with insulation and vapor barrier.

Project Start Date May 12, 2021 and Completion on or before September 30, 2021.

This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Jody McNaughton (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Jody McNaughton in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below)

We want to give you an opportunity to ask questions about the project with the Facilities project manager, Field staff and Procurement staff on the call.

Site Visits: To schedule a site visit contractors must contact Jody McNaughton at with a date and time of when you want a site visit. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit.
Site visits will be scheduled between March 31,2021 and April 15, 2021 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
