ADDENDUM #1
DATE: March 12, 2019
RFP NO./TOPIC : #43-1819 WORKERS’ COMPENSATION CLAIMS TPA
Answers are provided below for vendor questions received regarding the above referenced RFP.
1. In the RFP, you request: “four (4) Virginia client references that have received claims
administration services from your firm for at least the past 3-5 years, and two (2) new
Virginia client references that have received services from your firm within the past 1-2
years”. Are these references required to be WC programs or can they be liability/property
clients?
Yes, the references are required to be workers’ compensation program references.
2. In the pricing proposal, are we required to provide cradle to grave pricing options? We are
interested in submitting a proposal, but prefer to only quote “life of contract”.
Yes, cradle to grave pricing is required.
3. Section 4.1 Requirements C Response Forms states that all response forms need to be
completed in Microsoft WORD format. Will copies of these be provided in WORD? If
available online for download, please provide a link or web address.
The WORD document is available at the following links:

If you cannot retrieve via the links above, please contact Amy George for an emailed copy.
4. Page 26, 9 a & b asks about Life of Claim and Life of Contract pricing. Does CPS want both
quoted? Page 32 also seems to indicate both are desired.
CPS wants both Life of Claim and Life of Contract pricing quoted.
5. Page 28-29 H. 1 asks about preparing forms. Does CPS expect the TPA to complete its
OSHA logs?
CPS does not expect the TPA to complete its OSHA logs. CPS does expect the TPA to
provide report capability with an OSHA Log Tool that would have specific claim
information inserted to facilitate CPS completing and filing necessary OSHA reports/logs.
