SL-Classroom-Roof Replacement

Replacement of flat roof areas of Classroom Building. The project includes asbestos abatement (prequalified), fall protection, and roof screening. Roof screening will require structural components to be installed into a chemistry lab ceiling. Moving/re-routing of MEP items within this ceiling area is part of this contract. The chemistry lab ceiling will be open and available for inspection on 11/18, 11/21, 11/22 & 11/23 from 8:00 AM thru 4:00 PM. Arrangements must be made with PSU to gain access to this space on those dates/times.
While the prebid meeting is not mandatory for the GCs, it is MANDATORY for any Penn State prequalified asbestos abatement contractor who wishes to submit a bid to the bidding GCs.

Roofing and Abatement must be pre-qualified.

General Contractor will be a prime contract.

Bidding Documents: Bids will be received electronically only through the e-Builder Bid Portal. Bids in any other format will not be accepted.

To access the Bid Documents, the potential bidder must have or create an Account in the e-Builder Bid Portal. The User Name for your Account is usually your email address. NOTE: Bidders no longer need to request Access to the Bid Documents and be added to e-Builder by PSU.

The Bid Package is listed in the table below. Each Bid Package has a project-specific link. This link takes you to the e-Builder Bid Portal. From there, the potential bidder completes the prompts and can access bid documents and submit a bid.

Bid Document access is intended for use by the bidder, their company, and entities involved in formulating the bid response. Distribution of information or documents to plan rooms or websites for advertising this project is prohibited. Bid Document access will not generate a Bidders List. Subcontractors and Suppliers should contact the project’s A/E regarding this.
