Education Portfolio Assessment Software Request for Quote

The State University of New York Potsdam seeks to address a significant need for the Teacher Preparation Programs at SUNY Potsdam in fulfilling program and accreditation requirements for teacher candidates in the Teacher Education, Art Education and Music Education programs. Our current software assessment data management system will soon become obsolete due to the manufacturer no longer providing updates to the software. The proposal underscores our need to ensure that our accreditation process maintains uniformity across all candidates and semesters through portfolios that monitor our candidates' progress with key requirements.

We are seeking proposals from software firms/solutions capable of assisting the College with this process. SUNY intends to make this award under its discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(a). Project specifications are available in the documents section of this advertisement.

There is no RFP or IFB. A sealed bid opening will not be held. Inquiries are to be made by email only and only to the designated contacts identified in this advertisement. Proposals will be accepted by e-mail or hard copy and submission guidance is included with the RFQ/project specifications document. The College reserves the right to make no award.

In compliance with the Procurement Lobbying Act signed into law by Governor Pataki in August 2005, and effective January 1, 2006, permissible contact by an Offeror/Bidder in relation to any specific procurement in excess of $15,000 should be made only with authorized personnel of SUNY Plattsburgh who are designated as the contact person(s).
