Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) Management Information System

The New York State Department of Health (Department) announces the release of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) Management Information System request for proposal (RFP). Through this RFP, the Department is seeking competitive proposals from technology services vendors to provide services and a technical solution to support the CSFP in New York State. The CSFP is a nutrition education and emergency food distribution program specifically targeting low-income adults 60 years of age and older.

It is the Department’s intent to award one (1) contract from this procurement to provide technical services and a technical solution to support the CSFP in NYS for the period July1, 2023 –June 30, 2028.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for award:

1. The Bidder must have experience operating a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) web-based software solution for a minimum of one (1) year.

2. The Bidder must have two (2) years of experience licensing and hosting a COTS web-based inventory management software solution in the food industry.

3. The Bidder must have two (2) years of experience providing training and technical support for a COTS web-based inventory management software solution in the food industry.
