This is an ECMS project. All Addenda will be electronically posted. The location of the public bid opening is the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 7th Floor, Contract Awards Room, 400 North Street, Harrisburg. Allow sufficient time before the bid opening to obtain a visitor pass on the 5th Floor and to be escorted to the 7th Floor Contract Awards Room.
Description
The description and location of the project is as follows: For the improvement to bridges in CLEARFIELD COUNTY, CHEST, MORRIS, DECATUR, HUSTON, BURNSIDE, BRADFORD AND PIKE TOWNSHIPS, CHESTER HILL BOROUGH, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, SR 0879-P28. For the preservation of seven bridges involving Type 2 and Type 3 deck repairs, rebar installation, concrete repairs, bridge joint sealing, neoprene strip seal dam replacement, and epoxy surface treatments for bridge decks. Work also includes Superpave Asphalt Mixture Designs for the base, binder and wearing courses, guide rail, pavement markings and miscellaneous construction for a total construction length of approximately 10,697 feet (2.03 miles) as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package.
