REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROVIDER
The Borough of Phoenixville, located in Chester County, Pennsylvania (Borough) is requesting proposals from parties wishing to provide EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS) to the Borough.
The Borough is exploring the possibility of designating an EMS Provider for a three (3) year term in accordance with the RFP documentation available at the Phoenixville Borough Hall at the address listed herein.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Current license as a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) Provider by the PA Department of Health or other designated licensing agency.
2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area providing response to 9-1-1 Emergencies in an operating environment similar to that of the Borough.
3. Demonstrated performance delivering quality care and service.
4. Personnel staffing and equipment levels sufficient to provide simultaneous response to multiple incidents.
5. Desire to work in a cooperative manner with the Borough Fire Department.
6. Ability to provide cost-effective services.

All proposals are due by 11:00 AM prevailing time on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Proposals shall be provided via an original mailed and received within the time frame indicated above; and via email in PDF format to the Borough Manager at the above email address. Proposals received after the date and time herein will not be accepted for review.
The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for any or no reason, at the Borough’s discretion. The Borough further reserves the right to waive any formalities in the preparation and submittal of proposals. Service quality and positive history of operations may be considered in reaching a decision on any award.
