PRE-BID MEETING:

The Public Works Department will not be scheduling a pre-bid meeting. Prospective bidders may contact the Project Manager to schedule a site visit.

The Town of Vail requests Bids for:

Removal of 18 existing 40’ Light standards/Luminaires/Foundations and installation of 26 new 30’ Light standards/Luminaires/Foundations, new conduit and 2 Lighting Control Centers located in the roundabouts at the I-70 Exit 176 (Vail Town Center). Work is scheduled to be performed between May 15 and November 15, 2023. Work that is located in the annual flower planting beds in the roundabouts is restricted to September 5 thru November 15, 2023. Work in all other areas is allowed to occur between May 15 and November 15, 2023.

Any questions concerning this Request for Bids shall be directed IN WRITING ONLY to the Town by E-MAIL: csalli@vailgov.com . All questions shall be directed to the contacts listed above no later than 12:00 P.M. Wednesday of the week prior to bid opening (8 calendar days). Final questions and answers will be sent to pre-qualified bidders that had requested Drawings and Specifications for the Project no later than Monday morning of bid opening week. No Addenda will be issued later than April 25, 2023, except for an addendum, if necessary, postponing the Bid date or withdrawing the Invitation for Bids.
