It is the intention of these specifications to provide prospective proposers the requirements for Consulting & Continued Marketing Services as required by the Middlesex County Office of Marketing.
Middlesex County is continuing its initiatives to build on the strategic marketing and economic development that has been underway for the past six (6) years. These initiatives will include a full range of strategic and operational cross-functional services in critical areas for the County, such as but not limited to, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Government and Public Affairs, Public Relations, Organizational Alignment, Creative Design and Services. We will also require the selected vendor for this RFP to support the Office of Marketing, the Office of Public and Government Affairs and the Office of Communications to provide ongoing assistance, as well as senior and operational staff capabilities and expertise in key functions. The contracted firm shall serve as the strategic and operational marketing partner for the County, providing both on-demand and key leadership support across key areas and initiatives.
Additionally, Middlesex County executive leadership, under the County Administrator and Strategic Planning Team, is continuing its strategic initiatives to drive an enhanced and streamlined approach to organizational performance and accountability through the County leadership, management, employees, staff and partners that will internally mirror the marketing and economic development transformational changes occurring as part of the Middlesex County Marketing and Brand Strategy and Economic Development Initiative, as well as the County's Destination 2040 master plan and strategy. This initiative will require the County's outside consulting and agency partners to engage with key stakeholders to ensure all marketing initiatives are fully aligned and coordinated with County leadership as part of their organizational strategy and changes.
