Ladder truck

The City of Meriden Fire Department is seeking a new aerial ladder truck. The design and construction of the apparatus shall embody standard automotive heavy vehicle engineering practices. The apparatus shall be designed, engineered and constructed with due consideration for the severe service nature of the fire service. The apparatus shall conform to the requirements of the current (at the time of proposal) National Fire Protection Association Pamphlet #1901 for Motor Fire Apparatus unless otherwise specified in these specifications.
