Description


The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed proposals for Security Renovations to the Jackson County Courthouse Entrance until Monday, December 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM. At that time, the sealed proposals will be opened and read in the Finance Conference Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 4965 Jackson Parkway, Jefferson, Georgia 30549. Bids received after the due date and time will not be accepted or considered.

One original and three copies of the bid must be submitted in addition to an electronic copy stored on a USB thumb drive. A 5% bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required if the contract is awarded.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 5000 Jackson Parkway, Jefferson, GA 30549, at 10:00 AM on December 1, 2025. Interested vendors are required to attend without approved absence. All questions must be received in writing by Friday, December 5, 2025 at 5:00 PM to Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager at kmorris@jacksoncountygov.com, Barry Vickery, Project Manager, bvickery@jacksoncountygov.com, and Chris Caudle, Architect at ccaudle@husseygaybell.com.

All interested vendors must download the bid package and forms from the Jackson County website or at www.vendorregistry.com. Contact person is Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager, at 706-367-6309. Jackson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of Jackson County.
