Additional Instructions
The City of Hyattsville Department of Public Works (DPW) provides all engineering and design services
for all the City’s departments. Specifically, DPW maintains all City-owned property and rights-of-way, and
from time to time needs to perform engineering analysis, evaluation, and design as well as overseeing the
implementation of said work.
The purpose of this solicitation is for the City to select no more than two (2) RFP Respondents
(hereafter referred to as “Contractor(s)”) that provide the best price and responsiveness as selected by
City Staff. The Contractor(s) selected will work according to all Federal, State, and local requirements
and using industry accepted best practices to prepare Transportation Engineering and Design as per the
scope that follows.
The City will select no more than two (2) Contractor(s) for this RFP according to the following proposed
schedule.
