Prentiss L. Griffith Detention Facility Sealed Bid Requests Russell County Sheriff's Office

In accordance with the Code of Alabama, Title 41 (State Government, Bid Laws), notice is hereby given that the Russell County Commission, for the Prentiss L. Griffith Detention Facility, will receive sealed bids to purchase the items listed below:

– Jail Food Bid Items
– Bread Bid Items
– Paper and Cleaning Supplies

The bidding deadline is Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Bids will be opened at 3:00 P.M. ET on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in the Commission Chambers located in the Russell County Courthouse at 1000 Broad Street, Phenix City, Alabama. Any bids received after the opening time and date will be rejected.

The right to reject any and all bids is reserved by the Russell County Commission, and local preference may be given.  You are invited to bid and any substitutions offered must be submitted in writing with detail(s) and must have prior approval from the Russell County Sheriff before the bid opening.
