Project Description: The Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC) of Lehigh County and Northampton County, Pennsylvania, is accepting proposals for a one-time contract to perform certain professional (consulting) services work for the 23-mile portion of U.S. Route 22 limited access freeway from Interstate 78 (I-78) in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County to the Pennsylvania/New Jersey border in the City of Easton, Northampton County. This project is formally known as the ‘U.S. Route 22: Mobility, Safety and Congestion Management Plan’ and colloquially known as the ‘What to do With 22 Plan’.
Included is information relating to submitting a proposal including specific requirements, the organization of the proposal, proposal evaluation criteria and the proposed contract.
This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and Lehigh Valley Transportation Study (LVPC/LVTS).
