Project Description: NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND QUOTES
FOR AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

The Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) is publishing this notice to solicit qualifications and quotes to provide Captain Services for the Seventy48 Boat Race, as further described in the attached Scope of Work. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the Utah Procurement Code and the Utah Administrative Code. It is anticipated this solicitation may result in a single contract award to a responsive and responsible Offeror under Administrative Rule R277-122-6 for the Small Purchases of Professional Service Providers and Consultants.
All responses received will be reviewed and considered when selecting the best value professional service providers or consultants. Vendors should review the Scope of Work attached in this solicitation for more details about the procurement needs before submitting a response. The total estimated budget for this project is $13,000.00 . All contracts must be approved by the Utah State Board of Education.
Vendors who are interested and qualified to provide the services must, by the deadline and in the manner
prescribed in this solicitation, submit to USDB the following information:
The name and contact information of the vendor who will be providing or performing the Services;
The relevant qualifications and experience of the vendor, as they relate to the services requested in the scope
of work; and
3.An all-inclusive quote to provide the services listed in the scope of work. This quote should have details for the cost of each practice event and the final race.
USDB reserves the right to conduct discussions with the vendors who submit statements of qualifications and quotes determined to be reasonably qualified of being selected for award. USDB reserves the right to seek out qualified professional services providers to ensure they are able to select the bset value to USDB comparing price and qualifications.
Regardless of any prior communications with USDB, all vendors interested in responding to this notice must
submit a response containing all of the information requested above. Responses will be accepted electronically via
this supplier portal. Questions regarding this solicitation must be asked, and will only be answered, via this solicitation's Q&A
board, and only until the deadline identified in this solicitation for submission of questions.
