    p​ roject​​at​L​ ucy​​S​H​ erring​​Elementary,​​located​​at​9​ 8​S​ ulphur​S​ prings​R​ d,​​Asheville,​N​ C​2​ 8806,​​within​A​ sheville​
    ​City Schools (“ACS”), as per the specifications described herein.​
    2​ .​ ​SCOPE OF WORK​
    A​ ​ ​campus​ m​ ap​ ​of​ ​Lucy​ ​S​ ​Herring​ E​ lementary​ ​is​ ​added​ ​as​ ​Exhibit​ B​ ​ t​o​ ​this​ s​ olicitation.​ T​ he​ P​ roposer​ i​s​
    ​responsible for measuring actual square footage.​
    ​The​​selected​​contractor​​will​b​ e​​responsible​f​or​t​he​i​nterior​​painting​​of​​the​s​ chool.​T​ his​​project​i​s​i​nterior​​painting​
    o​ nly.​

    ●​ ​ ​Use Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial Waterborne Urethane on all metal surfaces;​
    ​●​ C​ olor will match what is currently at Lucy S Herring Elementary School; and​
    ●​ ​ ​One coat of paint to be applied.​

    ​3.​ S​ ITE VISIT​

    ​4.​ ​EXPERIENCE AND REFERENCES​
    T​ he requirements and specifications include the following:​

    ​5.​ E​ VALUATION​
    P​ roposals​ ​will​ ​be​ ​evaluated​ ​according​ ​to​ ​experience​ ​with​ s​ imilar​ p​ rojects,​ r​eferences,​ ​and​ ​cost.​ ​Award​ o​ f​​a​
    c​ ontract​t​o​o​ ne​​offeror​​does​n​ ot​m​ ean​t​hat​t​he​​other​p​ roposals​​lacked​m​ erit,​b​ ut​t​hat,​a​ ll​​factors​c​ onsidered,​t​he​
    s​ elected proposal was deemed most advantageous to ACS.​
    ​6.​ ​TIMELINE​
    W​ ork shall start on or approximately June 16, 2026 and shall be completed no later than August 10, 2026.​
    7​ .​ S​ AFETY REGULATIONS​
    ​The​C​ ontractor​​shall​​adhere​t​o​t​he​​rules,​​regulations,​a​ nd​i​nterpretations​o​ f​a​ ll​s​ tate,​f​ederal,​​and​​local​​laws​​that​
    p​ ertain​ t​o​ w​ orkers​ ​and​ ​site​ ​safety.​ T​ his​ t​o​ ​include​ ​OSHA​ 1​ 910,​ G​ eneral​ C​ onstruction,​ o​ r​ t​hose​ ​regulations​
    ​mandated by these specifications.​
    8​ .​ C​ ONDITIONS​
    ​Each​ ​Proposer​ s​ hall​ ​fully​ a​ cquaint​ ​itself​ ​with​ ​conditions​ ​relating​ ​to​ ​the​ s​ cope​ ​and​ r​estrictions​ a​ ttending​ ​the​
    ​execution​ ​of​ t​he​ ​work​ u​ nder​ C​ ontract.​ P​ roposers​ ​shall​ ​thoroughly​ ​examine​ ​and​ b​ e​ ​familiar​ w​ ith​ t​he​
    S​ pecifications.​
    ​It​ i​s​ a​ lso​ ​expected​ t​hat​ t​he​ ​Proposers​ w​ ill​ o​ btain​ ​information​ ​concerning​ t​he​ ​conditions​ ​at​l​ocations​​that​m​ ay​
    ​affect​​its​​work.​T​ he​​failure​o​ r​o​ mission​​of​a​ ny​P​ roposer​t​o​r​eceive​​or​​examine​a​ ny​f​orm,​​instrument,​​addendum​
    ​or​o​ ther​d​ ocument,​o​ r​t​o​​acquaint​i​tself​​with​​existing​​conditions,​​shall​i​n​​no​w​ ay​​relieve​i​t​​of​​any​o​ bligations​w​ ith​
