Access Controls and Video Surveillance Upgrade Project

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the turnkey supply and installation of new Access Control and Video Surveillance systems. The scope of work includes a like-for-like replacement of the existing systems, with the integration of existing door hardware and components wherever possible to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational continuity.

A mandatory site visit will be held on June 17, 2025 at 1:00PM EDT. Proponents must attend this site visit to be eligible to submit a proposal.

The new systems must be fully installed, commissioned, and operational by October 2026, with no disruption to the hospital’s security operations during implementation. The Successful Proponent will be responsible for decommissioning the existing equipment and systems and providing all associated services, including training, warranty, and support. Full project specifications, training requirements, and other service details are provided in the solicitation documents.

TBRHSC reserves the right to evaluate proposals based on best financial and business interests, including total cost of ownership, in accordance with BPS procurement requirements.
