Description

The City of Lloydminster (City) is accepting submissions from qualified Vendors interested in completing sanitary sewer trunk main planning and design engineering services on behalf of the City. The intent of the Work will be to provide the City with a preliminary design and cost estimate associated with the development of both the East Trunk and the West Trunk, respectively, to service future growth needs. Briefly, the project will involve data collection including, master plan review and assessment, limited utility locates and topographical survey, industry best practice research, design drafting services, network modelling, and Class “C” Construction Cost Estimate (-15% to +20%) preparation.

The Scope of Work will require a high degree of collaboration and as such this principle shall be included within the methodology and workplan submitted by the Vendor. In addition it shall be understood that the Scope of Work will require an iterative process involving the successful Vendor, the City, and City Operations Staff in determining the most advantageous recommendation for improving both trunk sewers.

The successful Vendor shall have a proven background in the assessment, analysis, modelling, long range planning, and design of sanitary sewer trunk mains.
