The Work generally comprises of:
Removal of the existing asphalt concrete pavement, separate sidewalk, lane aprons, and concrete curb, followed by the excavation to design subgrade, the installation of concrete surface works including rolled face curb and gutter, separate sidewalk, commercial lane aprons, and standard curb and gutter, and the supply and placement of landscaping tie-ins (topsoil and sod), granular base course, and hot mix asphalt concrete pavement.
The project intent is to restore stormwater surface drainage through the installation of roll-face curb and gutter the entire alleyway length, followed by alleyway paving to restore the level of service for the following location:
▪ Mid-block lane from 31 Street to 33 Street, between 50 Avenue Service Road and 51 Avenue
