Mapleton City Public Works Building and Site Improvements

Conducting Procurement Unit: Mapleton City
The purpose of this RFB is to enter into a contract to improve the existing Mapleton City Public Works Building & Yard for existing and future expansion needs. Work includes: (1) A new 3-bay metal building addition (metal frame, sheeting, and roofing materials have been bid separately, and will be supplied by owner.) (2) Remodeling of the existing Public Works building, including moving interior walls, expanding a bathroom, adding exterior doors, and misc. electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work. (3) Site utility work, regrading, repaving, lighting, fencing, etc. (4) Additive Alternate: Expansion of the existing drying beds.
The sealed hard copy of the bids will be received until 3:00 PM on Monday March 30, 2026 by the Mapleton City Recorder at the Mapleton City Offices (125 West 400 North). The Bid opening will occur at that location at 3:00 PM. Late bids, bids submitted to any other location, or online bids will not be considered for an award.
A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at Mapleton City Public Works (1405 West 1600 North) on Monday March 16, 2026 at 3:00 PM. It is anticipated that this RFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest, responsive, qualified, and bidder.
Work must be substantially completed by October 31, 2026.
