REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTING, QUICKBOOKS IMPLEMENTATION, AND RELATED FINANCIAL SERVICES

TheLauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is seeking quotes from suitable consultants for the following:

Scope of Services

Assist the CRA with establishing and maintaining accounting operations, including:

· Establishing and configuring QuickBooks, including the chart of accounts, beginning balances, bank accounts, projects, revenues, expenditures, and financial reporting structure.

· Providing general accounting assistance, including general ledger review, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable assistance, payroll, bank reconciliation and financial transaction review.

· Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and budget-to-actual reporting.

· Assisting with fiscal year-end closing, audit schedules, adjusting entries, reconciliations, and auditor requests.

· Reviewing accounting procedures and recommending appropriate internal controls and segregation of duties.

· Providing QuickBooks training and technical assistance to designated CRA and City staff.

· Providing professional accounting and financial advisory services on an as-needed basis.

· Attend meetings as needed

The Consultant shall coordinate with CRA management, City Finance staff, external auditors, and other designated representatives as necessary.
