This is the official solicitation synopsis for AFNORTH Support Service at Tyndall Air Force Base. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Vendors shall NOT submit proposals in response to this synopsis. The purpose of this contract is to provide all management and labor necessary to support Continental United States NORAD Region (CONR), First Air Force (1 AF) Air Forces Northern (AFNORTH), Air Forces Space (AFSPACE) Tyndall AFB, FL, and its associated units in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to be posted with the formal solicitation. The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a formal solicitation on or about 20 September 2024 via SAM.gov (https://sam.gov/) under the solicitation number FA481924R0009. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed priced contract with a one (1) year base period and four (4) twelve-month option periods. The solicitation will be for a commercial service and prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15. This requirement is being solicited as a competitive 8(a) set-aside. The contract award will be made on the basis of subjective tradeoff procedures IAW DoD Source Selection Procedures. All instructions for submitting proposals will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation will only be made available via the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) via https://sam.gov. No paper copies will be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Registration is accomplished via the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov.
