Description
This invitation is open only to those Proponents pre-qualified in Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors’ 2024-11 Planning pre-qualification category.
Any submission received from others will be returned without review.
Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors seeks to retain the services of an Engineering Consultant to provide services for the Highway 2, Functional Planning Study.
To address the ongoing development of the Highway 2 corridor in the westhill area of the Town of Peace River along with the altered plans for a future interchange, an updated functional planning study is required. The study will need to take into consideration the access management and the functionality of the highway and its classification of a future freeway and being a part of the National Highway System.
THE PROPOSAL MUST BE SUBMITTED IN TWO SEPARATE FILES; PART ONE (TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS) AND PART TWO (PROPOSAL FEE). EACH PDF DOCUMENT SHALL BE LESS THAN 10MB IN SIZE.
This is a Request for Proposal and not an Invitation to Tender. Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors reserves the right to:
a) Request clarification from the Contractor on a proposal at any time during the evaluation process.
b) Accept a proposal without negotiation.
c) Reject a proposal without negotiation
d) Negotiate changes in the Technical or Financial content of the successful proposal.
No payment will be made by Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors for costs incurred in the preparation or submission of this proposal. Selection of the Consultant will be based on the best overall value to Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors and not necessarily the lowest cost estimate.
