General Description
The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids for the bidders’ purchase and removal of
SCRAP VEHICLES. The bid will include the purchase options of one (1) and up to all
seven (7) vehicles, one (1) single axel trailer 6’6” by 12’ and one (1) E-tipper by Crysteel
7’ by 8’. Bids must include the cost for removal of vehicles off city property before
September 1, 2026. Potential bidders may view vehicles until bidding is complete
between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. by appointment with the principal contact.

the bids tab. Any and all questions regarding this bid shall be directed to the principal

Request For Bids
Evaluation of Bids
The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value for the
municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products to which the City wishes
to sell. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no reason
and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the City of
Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bid selection
process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.
Selection of Bids
It is anticipated that this agreement will be considered by City Council on August 18, 2026.
The “Total Amount Proposed” cost will be valid for a minimum of 60 days after the bid
opening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.
Awarding bidder must complete removal from the City of Greenville by September 1,
2026.

No sales tax may be added to the bid price, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt.
Any shipping costs for merchandise must be paid by the vendor, as part of the bid amount
proposed. Additionally, the final proposed total cost covers the entire scope of the project.
All vehicles have their titles.
