Liquid Carbon Dioxide Cylinders

The City of Orlando's aim of this bid is to establish a safe, reliable, and efficient system for the delivery, storage, and ongoing servicing of liquid carbon dioxide (CO₂) to support operational, industrial, or commercial requirements. The project focuses on ensuring uninterrupted supply, compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, and optimization of logistics and handling processes.

Key objectives include the secure transportation of liquid CO₂, installation and maintenance of storage and dispensing equipment, implementation of robust safety controls, and provision of routine inspection, servicing, and emergency support. Through effective planning, monitoring, and servicing, the project seeks to minimize operational risks, reduce downtime, and ensure consistent product quality while supporting sustainability and regulatory compliance goals.

The City of Orlando currently utilizes the Chart Carbo-Max 750 high-flow bulk system for high-volume beverage dispensing. This system holds approximately 750 lbs of liquid and measures 26 inches in diameter and 73.875 inches in height (with legs). The unit weighs 430 lbs when empty and approximately 1,219 lbs when fully loaded.
