New Sunshine Substation Battery Bank and Accessories

The City of Gallup, New Mexico is seeking competitive bids from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of a complete DC battery system for the Sunshine Substation. The system shall support substation control, protection, and auxiliary power requirements and shall include batteries, charger, and battery rack with spill containment. .

The City of Gallup, New Mexico has issued this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to obtain pricing from qualified manufacturers and/or suppliers for the batteries required for the City’s Sunshine Substation project. The materials to be furnished under this ITB are identified and described in the attached specifications.

The Sunshine Substation project is a critical component of the City’s ongoing efforts to upgrade its electrical infrastructure in order to enhance system reliability and improve service to customers. Timely delivery of all materials is essential to maintaining the project schedule; therefore, proposed delivery timelines, in addition to pricing, will be key factors in the evaluation and selection of the successful bidder.
