Mechanical Construction IDIQ

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide mechanical construction services at the NIST campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The solicitation will indicate that one or more awards will be made. Work shall be performed in accordance with task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. It is anticipated that most of the task orders issued under this contract will involve mechanical construction. See the attached DRAFT Statement of Work for the IDIQ. The DRAFT Statement of Work for the first task order is also attached to this notice.

This acquisition is being conducted as a small business set-aside.

The total maximum quantity to be ordered is $8,000,000 for the length of the contract, not to exceed three years. The maximum quantity is calculated as the sum of all orders issued, including modifications, to all contractors. Specific requirements will be identified in written task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. Task orders will range in value from $2,500 to $2,000,000.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning, the size standard for which is $19.0M.
