DANE STREET STORM SYSTEM UPDATES

The City of Woodstock will receive proposals for updates to the storm system on Dane Street until 12 pm, Monday, August 17, 2026. Electronic proposals will be accepted via email. Please send electronic proposals to For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. with the subject line reading "DANE STREET RFP SUBMITTAL".  All physical proposals shall be addressed to the City of Woodstock, 121 W Calhoun Street, Woodstock, IL 60098. Each proposal must be sealed and clearly identified on the outside of the envelope as a "DANE STREET RFP ATTN. TYLER BECKER-SCHEID".  If pricing requires City Council approval, award of the proposal will be considered at a later meeting of the Woodstock City Council within at least 30 days of the date of receiving proposals.

All proposals received prior to the specified date and time, which meet or exceed the minimum specifications, will be considered by the City. The City will review each properly submitted proposal and will make a selection based upon price, availability, quality, and other features of the proposals. Proposals submitted after 12 pm, local time, Monday, August 17, 2026, will not be considered and will be returned to the applicant.

The City of Woodstock reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities in the proposals, and to select the proposal that is considered to be the most advantageous to the City of Woodstock.

Not less than the prevailing rates of wages as found by the City of Woodstock and/or the Illinois Department of Labor, or determined by a court on review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract. The successful bidder shall comply with all requirements of the “Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act”, 30 ILCS 570/0.01.

Only proposals and proposals submitted on forms prepared by the City of Woodstock will be considered. Complete plan sets and proposal forms may be obtained electronically at woodstockil.gov/bids.aspx.
