Description

The Green Mountain National Forest (GMNF) has potable drinking water wells required to comply with both the Safe Drinking Water Act (Federal direction enforced by Vermont DEC) and Forest Service Directives. They are a mix of Public and Private Drinking Water systems and to comply, there are various water quality tests required.



The purpose of this contract is to find a vendor who will furnish water sample kits and who can provide a courier service to transport samples provided by the Forest Service, to a Lab Certified for Drinking Water Analysis by the Vermont Department of Health (Attachment 4 - Vermont Department of Health Lab Listing) capable of completing the required testing. The vendor will also be required to follow the Lab Analysis and Reporting Requirements as outlined below. This includes completing the Vermont DEC required electronic transmissions (timeline and format) for all Public Water System analysis results.
