Hempfield School District 2025 Site Facilities Repairs

Project Description: Sealed proposals for the Hempfield School District 2025 Site Facilities Repairs will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Hempfield School District until 2:00 PM, Prevailing Time, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened via PennBid. Hempfield School District Board of Directors will act on the Bid at their regularly scheduled Meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
The Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are: 1) full-depth pavement repairs and replacement; 2) pavement milling and overlay; 3) pavement crack repairs; 4) curb ramp replacement and installation; 5) concrete curb and sidewalk repair and replacement; 6) stormwater structure replacements and repairs; 7) replacement of concrete loading dock apron; 8) concrete crack repairs; 9) installation of bollards; 10) installation of speed humps; and 11) pavement markings and signage.

Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier’s check, bank treasurer’s check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Hempfield School District, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978.
Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid.
Laws and regulations applicable to this Contract include the following: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 – Session of 1961) Public School Code
A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Hempfield School District Administration Building (200 Church Street, Landisville, PA 17538).
Hempfield School District hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities, in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the School District.
