Sealed bids shall be received by the City of Leawood, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk until 2:00 PM, Central Standard Time on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 for the construction of Ironhorse Golf Club - Course Irrigation Replacement Project 2026. The work shall include: Remove existing irrigation equipment and furnish and install a complete automatic irrigation system for the Ironhorse Golf Course 18-hole course, including controllers, sprinklers, piping, fittings, wiring, valves, related equipment, excavation, backfilling, testing, and associated work. All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the City Clerk, City of Leawood, 4800 Town Center Drive, Leawood, Kansas 66211, and shall be clearly marked "Ironhorse Golf Club - Course Irrigation Replacement Project 2026 " At the above stated time and place, all bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at Ironhorse Golf Club, 15400 Mission Road, Leawood, KS 66224 on August 4th at 9:00am.

Copies of the Contract Documents are on file and available for viewing at: Drexel Technologies ePlan room ( http://www.drexeltech.com ) under Ironhorse Golf Club - Course Irrigation Replacement Project 2026 . Contractors desiring Contract Documents for use in preparing bids may obtain a set of such documents from the plan room for a non-refundable fee.

Each bidder shall file with their bid proposal a cashier's check, certified check, or bid proposal bond, drawn on an acceptable bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid.

Nonresident corporations that are not already registered with the Kansas Secretary of State, and all nonresident individuals and partnerships are required by law to register with the Director of Revenue, State Office Building, Topeka, Kansas, and to pay a fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each and every contract, as a precedent to commencing work on the contract. For contracts in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) the foreign contractor shall file with the Director of Revenue an acceptable bond in amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract.

No bid may be withdrawn within a period of thirty (30) calendar days from and after the date fixed for opening bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
