UNR - Install 25kV Services for Ansari Business Building and Chemistry Building Chiller

**NSHE recently migrated to a new payment system that requires all of our vendors register with the system in order for our Controllers office to allow us to pay you. This process only needs to be completed once. If your company is listed and shows the Supplier Status as anything other than “Accepted” then there are still steps that must be completed before your registration is approved.
**Once an ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR is released for bidding, bidders may begin working on their response and uploading required documents without submitting their bid early. The NGEM system allows for bidders to save their work. Please make use of this capability in order to give your company enough time to review your response and upload any other documents on the day the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes so that you do not miss the cut-off time.
**Once the ITB/RFP/RFQ/CMAR closes and the responses are unsealed electronically, the list of bidders/responders will be immediately posted online and available to the public for viewing. This document can be accessed by clicking on Closed Bid Opportunities, selecting the specific opportunity, and scrolling down to Bid Documents. The Bid Tabulation document will be available for review there.

Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project . Upgrade services from 5kV to 25kV for Ansari Business Building and Chemistry Chiller. Replace main switchboard in Ansari.

Special Considerations: Any shutdown of power to buildings will be done on weekends during summer break. If building power cannot be re-energized by Sunday night, Contractor will be required to provide backup generator(s) to carry building power through the week until the following weekend. Contractor shall pay all overtime required for this work. Any shutdown of power requires a minimum of 2 weeks prior notice.

Estimated Cost Range: $391,000 to $491,000

Liquidated Damages: $500/day

Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Builder's Risk Insurance, and Contractors Pollution Liability Insurance will be required. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "January 23, 2025" and shall be fully complete by "July 31, 2026."
