IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN AWARDED ON RFP #F1086-25 YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESPOND TO THIS RFP, AS YOUR COMPANY IS ALREADY AWARDED UNTIL 9/30/2027 AT WHICH TIME THE BID HAS TWO MORE RENEWAL TERMS.
Lewisville Independent School District ("LISD, "District") is accepting proposals for qualified persons and/or companies to provide various Special Education Contracted Services in accordance with federal and state regulations, including the Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). These services shall be purchased on an "As Needed" basis, with LISD making the sole determination of need. Multiple provider awards are anticipated to provide LISD with a variety of resources for needed services. Services requested include, but not limited to: evaluation, consultation, and direct services.
All interested vendors, including sole source providers, are encouraged to respond to this request for proposal in its entirety and should submit all required bid attachments regardless of sole source status to be considered.
Missing or incomplete information will have a negative impact on vendor evaluations.
This request for proposal is being issued in accordance with Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR) Part 200 requirements to procure vendors who provide services purchased by LISD using federal dollars. This proposal may also be used with local, state, federal and grant funded programs.
RFP #F1086A-25 shall be awarded at District discretion, to multiple Proposers supplying comparable products or services, also known as a multiple award schedule, or award the Contract to a single Proposer. The District's decision to make multiple awards or a single award will be based upon the District's sole discretion regarding the type of products and/or services that provides best value to The District.
The anticipated term of this proposal shall be from November 2026 - September 2027.
Dependent on the long-range needs of the District, if vendor does not notify the District 90 days before any renewal date(s), the District will auto-renew the bid under the existing terms and conditions. If vendor does not wish to renew, or wishes to renew with new terms and conditions, please contact LISD within 90 days of the renewal term. There will be two successive renewals, each consisting of a two year term.
Initial Anticipated Contract Term: November 2026 - September 2027
Tentative Second Term - Renewal Option: September 2027 - September 2029
Tentative Third and Final Term - Renewal Option: September 2029 - September 2031

Pursuant to Texas Education Code (TEC) §22A.055, a person applying for employment with or who will act as a service provider for an educational entity (school district, district of innovation, open-enrollment charter school, other charter entity, regional education service center, or shared services arrangement) must submit, using a form adopted by the agency, a pre-employment or pre-service affidavit.
