1.0 Introduction:

The City of Gallatin is seeking bids for a Direct Purchase Uniform Program for the Public Works

Department. Bids are due on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CT.

1.1 Scope of Work

The City of Gallatin seeks to provide uniforms for approximately 40 to 50 employees. Each

employee will receive 5 shirts and 5 bottoms.

2.0 Technical Requirements:

Enhanced visibility shirts and jackets must meet ANSI 107-2004 Class 2, Level 2 ORANGE.

Red Kap or Cornerstone uniforms are preferred but not required. There will be NO

embroidery.

3.0 Uniform Specifications:

Work Pants/Shorts (PT20CH) (PT26CH)

 Red Kap Industrial Work Pant or equivalent

 7.5-ounce, 65/35 poly/cotton twill

 Jean-style waistband with button closure

 Two front and back pockets

 Red Kap Industrial Work Pant or equivalent

Work Pants/ Shorts Cargo (PT88CH) (PT66CH)

 Red Kap Industrial Cargo Pants/ Shorts or equivalent

 8 oz., 65/35 poly/ cotton

 Innerlined waistband for body and shape folder-set band with outlet

 Two slack style front pockets

 Two set-in hip pockets, left has button closure, darts over hip pockets

 Two patch leg pockets with inverted center pleat, one-piece pocket flap with mitered

corners, two concealed snap closures

 Two-piece, lined collar, Button-front closure, Pencil stall in left chest pocket

 Lined cuffs with button closure

 UPF 40 Rating,

 Fabric: 5 oz. Poplin

 Blend: 100% Polyester

 Finish: VISA finish with soil release and wickability

 Must meet minimum ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 Standards, Class 2/Level 2.

100% Polyester Jersey Knit Shirt (CS401)

 Rib knit collar

 Coverseaming throughout garment

 Moisture wicking

 Fabric: 5.9 oz. Jersey Knit

 Blend: 100% Polyester

 Must meet minimum ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 Standards, Class 2/Level 2.

100% Polyester Birdseye Mesh Shirt (CS200)

 4.1 oz light weight fabric

 Birdseye mesh

 Moisture wicking treatment

 Left-chest pocket

 Must meet minimum ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 Standards, Class 2/Level 2.

55% Cotton 45% Polyester Knit Shirt (S170)

 5 oz., 55/45 cotton/poly knit

 55/45 cotton/poly knit

 Must meet minimum ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 Standards, Class 2/Level 2.

4.0 Vendor Requirements:

4.1 Vendor shall provide a high-quality uniform.

4.2 Vendor must be able to provide a sample of each item on request.

4.3 Vendor agrees to furnish additional uniforms to employees at contract prices.

4.4 Vendor must complete attached price sheet.

4.5 Pricing is good for one (1) year, with possible contract extension up to three (3) years.

4.6 Vendor will measure employees for sizing.

5.0 Evaluation Criteria:

Bids will be evaluated based on the following factors:

5.2 Cost

5.3 Vendor’s performance record and references

5.4 Product and service quality

5.5 Adherence to specifications

6.0 Contract Award:

The City of Gallatin reserves the right to:

6.1 Reject any or all bids

6.2 Waive informalities

6.3 Make an award in the best interest of the City of Gallatin

8.0 Legal Compliance:

T.C.A. § 12-4-127.
