Project Description: Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) is seeking proposals through a competitive process wherein a qualified industry related consultant will conduct ongoing utility-rate optimization services during the agreed-upon contract term.
The awardee shall be an economical, reliable, qualified, industry-related consultant that will perform utility-rate optimization study services for the purpose of obtaining cost savings.
The study shall be a strategic evaluation and assessment that aligns with EMWD’s past Energy Management Plan as well as the EMWD’s 2025-2027 Triennial Strategic Plan Goal of Energy Diversification which aims to “plan and implement cost-effective energy projects and strategic partnerships to optimize EMWD’s energy portfolio and minimize its carbon footprint”.
