Ordering Location and Address: Rocky Fork State Park 6451 Lucas Lane Hillsboro, OH 45133 Project Background : These Renovations are needed for upgrading the building to modern standards, it was constructed in the late 60’s and it used for larger group events e.g. weddings, school or family reunions, business events. The upgrades are needed to make its amenities more reliable and accessible. Delivery : Rocky Fork State Park East End Overlook 6451 Lucas Lane Hillsboro, OH 45133 Cory.Cover@dnr.ohio.gov Office 937-393-4284 Cell 513-515-7853 or Michael.Robinson@dnr.ohio.gov Cell 937-403-1486 Completion/Delivery Date: Prior to May 31, 2025. Site Visit & Point of Contact Prior to submitting a bid response, offerors are REQUIRED to visit. Site can be visited Mon-Fri 8am-3:30pm or by appointment to ensure staff is available call 937-393-4284 to schedule. Once a contract is awarded, failure of the bidder to have requested a site visit to become familiar with the facility and requirements of the bid will be insufficient reason to support any request to be released from the contract. Project Award For bids involving service projects on DNR property, the lowest apparent bidder will be required to provide 2 examples of similar completed projects including photos. Provide the person’s name, organization name, phone number and email address for each project example. In addition, the bidder must complete a pre-award meeting with appropriate DNR staff to ensure that the materials and scope are mutually understood. Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total. Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive. |
