Description

The Proponent must be an authorized Microsoft Corporation Licensing Solution Provider (LSP) with Education Solution Partner status in Canada. In support of the Learning System, and in conjunction with Advanced Education, Alberta Education has negotiated a provincial license agreement with Microsoft Corporation. The Provincial Microsoft Licensing agreement (the “Master Agreement”) is the negotiated terms that govern a common licensing transaction vehicle for eligible Education institutions in Alberta. The Master Agreement allows the Learning System to use/install Microsoft products such as office 365A3/A5, as well as on premises products for infrastructure and networking on all devices owned or leased by the Learning System. The successful Proponent (“Licensing Solution Provider” or “LSP”) will work directly with the Learning System to determine the platform, version and language(s) required by each participating member of the Learning System that requests delivery of any of the products listed above. The successful LSP will also coordinate the execution of individual EES agreements across the approximately 160 participating members in the Learning System.
Note: This RFP does not pertain to Alberta Education’s or Advanced Education’s purchases of Microsoft Office® for use by Alberta Education or Advanced Education staff and contractors, or any other Government of Alberta purchases of Microsoft Office®.
