Description
Lonsdale Energy requests your response to this Request for Proposal (RFP) forElectrical Installations for Heating Plant 11 (MP11).
Lonsdale Energy is planning to increase plant capacity to provide additional hotwater heating service to current and future buildings in North Vancouver.
The future MP11 room will be at 128 15th St W, North Vancouver.
MP11 includes the installation of a 2,800-kW electric boiler system.
The following equipment is included:
2 Electric Boilers, 1,400 kW
3 Boiler Loop Pumps 5 hp
3 DES Loop Pumps 15 hp
2 Gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers, 1,500 kW
2 Expansion tanks, 1,000 L, 400 L
Welded steel piping system
Field instruments: Temperature Sensors, Pressure Transmitters, Flow meters, Energy calculators
The control philosophy and system design properties are detailed in the attached P&ID Diagram. The electrical trade contractor supplies all VFDs and will connect all machines, actuators, and field instruments (supplied by the mechanical contractor) to a central control panel. LEC will design and supply the central control panel.
