Project Description: State of Utah Division of Purchasing is the Issuing and Conducting Procurement Unit
The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a statewide contract to provide: Point of Sale (POS) Hardware & Software. This RFP was previously posted under solicitation number BB23-4. If you were awarded a contract under BB23-4, you do not need to resubmit to this RFP TJ25-25.
This RFP may result in multiple awards. The methodology that will be used to determine the number of awards is: Vendors must meet the Mandatory Minimum Requirements as listed in the documents section before moving on to the evaluation/scoring phase. Technical criteria will be scored on a 0-5 scale by an evaluation committee and the offeror must provide a point-by-point response to the Technical Criteria topics detailed in this RFP. Offeror must meet the minimum technical score threshold of 420 points out of 700 points. to advance to the Cost stage of the evaluation. Cost will be evaluated using this equation Cost Points x (Cost Points x (Lowest Proposed Price/Proposed Price). The max points will be given to the lowest cost Vendor and the rest will be evaluated based on the Cost Points equation. Total cost points available is 300 Points. The award will go to the Vendors scoring an over all 650 points minimum. There are 1000 points possible.
Length of Contract: will be from the date the contract is fully executed to 11/30/2028.
