The Town of Fairfield (Town) on behalf of the Fairfield Police Department (FPD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to design, implement, operate, and maintain an Automated Traffic Enforcement Safety Device (ATESD) program. The initiative aims to enhance public safety in school zones, pedestrian crossings, and high-risk roadways, by utilizing speed and red-light camera systems. The awarded Vendor will be responsible for the provision, installation, operations, and maintenance of ATESD systems, along with citation processing and data reporting services, in compliance with all federal, state and local laws. Respondents should have experience performing the services relevant to the tasks outlined in this RFP. The Town has a preference for an all-inclusive turnkey solution with a single vendor, at no “out of pocket” cost to the Town, however all qualified vendor proposals will be reviewed and considered.
