The work to be performed under the terms of this Specification generally consists of creating and maintaining a lay-down area near the mouth of Convict Hollow, installation of sediment control, grade work associated with stabilizing pre-SMCRA outslopes, installation/improvement of two mine seals, construction of two wetlands and a stable channel to convey base and storm flows while protecting downstream dwellings, replacement of a VDOT culvert, replacement of an existing bridge across Convict Hollow, removal of slide material from a slope failure, hauling material to the designated off-site disposal area, repairing and repaving an existing driveway, and compliance with all permit conditions and revegetation of all disturbed areas on the site known as the Maxie Circle Drainage Project for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
