The Alabama Department Of Agriculture and Industries is seeking a sole source quote for an annual service agreement for one (1) QuantStudio 5 0.1 mL Block Real-Time PCR System located at the Thompson Bishop Sparks State Diagnostic Laboratory located at 890 Simms Road, Auburn, AL 36832.

***Note: Supplier must be approved by the National Animal Health Laboratory Network to service equipment in federal testing.***

Equipment:

(1) QuantStudio 5 0.1 mL Block Real-Time PCR System - Serial Number: 272513746.

Annual Service Agreement includes one (1) Planned Maintenance AB Assurance Plan.

AB Assurance Plan Must Include:

(1) Parts, labor, and travel for remedial repair.
(2) No charge for planned maintenance visits.
(3) Guaranteed priority response time of 2 business days after receipt of a service call.
(4) Target response time of 3 business days for remedial repairs.
(5) Priority telephone and email access to instrument technical support.
(6) Telephone and email access to application technical support.
(7) Remote monitoring and Dx Service, which provides for notification to customer of instrument failures or errors that are reported by AB's Remote Monitoring software.

Service Period: 12/29/2026 through 12/28/2027

Note To Supplier: Model/Part Number and Descriptive Literature

The brands and model numbers referenced provide a level of quality, and unless otherwise specified, are not restrictive. Suppliers quoting alternate items must provide a complete model/part number as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote. Reference to literature with a previous solicitation will not satisfy this requirement.  Failure to provide the required literature may result in the rejection of the supplier’s response.
