Description: The New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) announces the release of RFP 23022-Gambling, Health, and Recreational Behaviors Study. The RFP is anticipated to be posted to https://oasas.ny.gov/procurement by COB Monday 11/18/2024. OASAS is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to responsive and responsible Bidders that can conduct a NYS Gambling, Health, and Recreational Behaviors study of non-institutionalized adults over a 10-year period. The successful bidder will conduct, analyze, and provide statistically valid estimates along with written documents for a biennially administered survey, in addition to collecting qualitative data to better understand the contextual issues related to gambling behavior among NYS adults. This data will allow OASAS to monitor and develop an understanding of: trends associated with attitudes and behaviors towards gambling; prevalence of problem gambling and gambling disorder including in higher risk populations; community awareness of problem gambling behaviors and availability of services. In addition, study results will assist OASAS in continued planning and implementation of problem gambling services and supports both within communities and statewide.
