Project Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice of Advertisement of Bids Project Name: Lansdowne Borough: 2025 Road Program. Notice is given that sealed proposals will be received online via the PennBid Program by the Borough of Lansdowne byTuesday March 18, 2025 until 10:00 AM prevailing time, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Lansdowne 2025 Road Program Project. The scope of work includes the following approximate quantities of work:
537 Tons of Superpave Mixture Base Repair - Wycombe - Bartram to Fairview
400 CY Demolition of Base Course, Wycombe - Wycombe - Bartram to Fairview
2,385 SY of Superpave Mixture Wearing Course Overlay - Wycombe - Bartram to Fairview
Traffic Calming Speed Bump / Hump One (1)
ADD ALTERNATES
313 Tons of Superpave Mixture Base Repair - Nyack to Bartram
232 CY Demolition of Base Course, Wycombe - Nyack to Bartram
1,393 SY of Superpave Mixture Wearing Course Overlay -Nyack to Bartram
Restoration of Scottdale Road Rip-Rap Swale: 100 Feet
Restoration of Scottdale Road Guiderail: 100 Feet
Restoration of Two (2) Inlets at Union and Bartram
Required Line Work - Scottdale Road Double Yellow: 600 Feet

Incidental Work
All Bidding Documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net. The successful bidder who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay "PennBid" a fee of 0.003333% or $100-$5,000 of the contract award value.
Each bid must be submitted online and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least ten (10) percent of the total bid. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates are to be used during this contract. Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Borough.
