This solicitation for combined synopsis/solicitation is an Unfunded requirement (UFR)

FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds - "Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer."

This is a solicitation for combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein.

23 WG/JA needs to replace and install carpet in their offices, replacing the existing USAF carpet contract guide. The office is located at 23 Flying Tiger Way, Suite 241, Building 105 Moody AFB GA 31699.The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, management, supervision, coordination, waste disposal and transportation required to accomplish this requirement.

Requirement meets the definition of a commercial item as defined in FAR 2.101.

Therefore, this requirement can be acquired under FAR part 12 and FAR part 13 procedures.
