Boiler Removal and Installation Located at the Hauppauge Laboratory

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That proposals for Boiler Removal and Installation Located at the Hauppauge Laboratory, will be received by the Suffolk County Water Authority not later than 11:00 a.m. on December 10, 2024, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york .

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The conference will be held at Suffolk County Water Authority’s Laboratory located 260 Motor Pkwy, Hauppauge, NY 11788. Any firm wishing to have a bid considered by SCWA must send a representative to the conference. Vendors who previously attended the pre-bid are not required to attend.

Failure by a firm or its representatives to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will disqualify the firm’s bid from consideration for an award. The Authority may excuse a firm’s attendance at the pre-bid conference upon a showing of an extraordinary circumstance that prevented the firm or any of its representatives from attending the conference.
