  • Summary:Contractor shall provide all effort and materials necessary to provide food services for the inmates of the facilities. Contractor shall furnish nutritious, wholesome, and palatable food. It is estimated that the average number of meals served per seating for the first year of the contract will be approximately one thousand (1,000). It is estimated that about 15 percent of these meals are served to females. It is also estimated that this amount may increase to fourteen hundred (1,400) or may decrease to one thousand (1,000) by the end of the initial contract term. Additionally, Contractor is to be aware of an average inmate population increase on weekends averaging approximately 100 males and 30 females. These are reasonable estimates only made in good faith by the Sheriff’s Office. The Contractor is advised that the Sheriff’s Office does not guarantee that a specific number of meals will ultimately be ordered under the contract.
