Separate sealed Bids for Bid No.: 25-401 ARDMORE CITY LAKE DAM REPAIRS and all appurtenances
thereto will be received at the office of the Purchasing Department, at the above address until 2:00 P.M.,
CST, on May 6, 2025, then publicly opened and read aloud in the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall, 23 S. Washington St., Ardmore, Oklahoma 73401.
Project includes the furnishing of labor, equipment and materials for site preparation, repairs to
address the internal erosion problems detected at Sta. 1+95, adjacent to the spillway right retaining
wall, and at Sta. 8+80, close to the intake structure, stabilization of the existing concrete spillway
structure, the construction of new reinforced-concrete retaining wall, the improvement of the
stability of the existing embankment dam so 25% of the PMF can pass without overtopping the
embankment dam, and other site work as indicated on the Drawings or as indicated in the
Specifications.
Pre-Bid Conference: Refer to Instructions for Bidders
Each Bid must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the OWNER for Five Percent (5%) of the total
amount of the BID. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. PERFORMANCE, MAINTENANCE
AND STATUTORY PAYMENT BONDS in the amount of hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, with a
corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
The OWNER may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all BIDS. Any BID may be
withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of BIDS or authorized postponement
thereof. Any BID received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No BIDDER may
withdraw a BID within sixty (60) calendar days following the actual date of the opening thereof.
The OWNER reserves the right to: change the dates the bid will be considered; waive all informalities;
reject any and all bids; choose whether to accept alternates, if applicable; adjust quantities; and add or
omit items of work as deemed necessary to conform with budget or other constraints; and to accept that
bid deemed most advantageous for value received.
Bids shall be made in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders contained in the Contract
Documents. Contract Documents may be examined or obtained at the City of Ardmore’s Purchasing
Office, located on the 1st floor of City Hall at 23 South Washington, Ardmore, Oklahoma. The Purchasing
Department may be reached at (580) 221-2582. Plans may be obtained via electronic file transfer at no
charge
